We had such an amazing time meeting Santa at Blackburn Mall back in 2019. Obviously we were all in lockdown last Christmas so there was no event for 2020. Thankfully Santa’s back in Blackburn for 2021 and we were thrilled to be invited along to meet him.
Running from the 27th November up until Christmas Eve, Blackburn is THE place to see the real Santa. Climb aboard the Santaland Express and be transported through time and space to meet Santa inside his festive grotto.
Buy your tickets (a bargain at just £9.95 per child) and await your magical journey.

We had the opportunity to meet Santa’s elves on the platform before taking our seats within the carriage. After seeing the world pass by out of the window, we arrived at Santaland, ready to meet the big man himself.
As I’m sure you can agree, this is definitely the real Santa! The room was so beautifully decorated, complete with a huge tree and festive music.
The kids handed Santa their letters and, as you would expect from the real Santa, he was engaging and patient with the children. My six year old was beside herself with excitement and loved showing Santa her boots!

My son is ten now and it was lovely to see him still swept away by all the magic. He was just as excited as his little sister and I think his face says it all!`

My kids were entranced by the whole experience. The whole event was so well run and they’ve done such an amazing job in making the train ride feel believable. My daughter was convinced we had actually travelled!
I honestly think it’s such a bargain at just £9.95 per child including an age-appropriate gift.

Blackburn is the perfect place to complete all your Christmas shopping. As well as the many shops and the opportunity to meet Santa, there’s also The Snowman and The Snowdog Trail where 16 illuminated brick model sculptures are located around the town centre.

Awww this looks fabulous and looks like you had a good time! We were invited but my daughter is a grumpy teen these days! *Eye roll* Wish she was younger, visits to see Santa were always magical! 🙂
Santaland Express looks like a fabulous place to visit and I know my children would totally love heading there. Thanks for the lovely review of the place.
This sounds like so much fun and perfect to get the kids excited about Christmas. It’s a great price and looks really nicely set out.
The kids look so happy and it’s great that your 10 year old still holds the magic and can enjoy it with his little sister x
This looks so magical and my girls would absolutely love this . There’s nothing close by like this for us unfortunately
My kids loved visiting Santa when they were little, such a magical part of Christmas.
Oh how lovely is this – there is nothing quite like visiting Santa when your a kid is there? And this looks like a magical set up.
