Following on from my gift guide for kids aged 8 – 14, here’s my gift guides for those a little younger. My daughter is four and has now outgrown toddler toys (sob!) Here’s some ideas we know our little one would love.
Chicco Balance Bike
Balance bikes are perfect for younger children who aren’t quite ready for a traditional bike. There are no pedals to use; the child simply uses their feet to move around. They’re fantastic as a first bike as they’re great for getting children used to balancing. This makes the transition from to a traditional bike so much easier.
This Red Bullet from Chicco is perfect for both boys and girls. It a lovely bold colour and really robust and sturdy. It can be bought from Amazon, and at the time of writing it’s an absolute bargain!
Pinkfong Baby Shark Song Puppet
Unfortunately my daughter did not escape the Baby Shark phenomenon. What we may find annoying, she finds hilarious! She knows all the dance actions and is happy to sing it again and again. And again.

Little Cooks Co Subscription
Little Cooks Co subscription is a lovely way of getting children interested in cooking and baking. Disney On Ice Tickets
We went along to see Disney On Ice in Liverpool earlier this year and had THE most amazing time. Disney On Ice presents Magical Ice Festival is heading to Liverpool in 2020 and we’re so excited to see the show. The show arrives in Liverpool on 26th March 2020 until 29th March 2020. It’s the first time Moana has appeared in Liverpool which is amazing as my daughter adores her! She’ll be joined by Ariel, Anna and Elsa, Rapunzel and so many more. Disney Princess Books
Continuing the Disney theme, these books would make the perfect gift for any young fan. They’re exclusive to Tesco and they make a lovely collection. They’re hard book small books that re-tell the stories from the famous Disney movies. My daughter particularly loves the Sleeping Beauty one. They’d make a lovely stocking filler individually or we love them as a set.
Stib Pencils
The Award Winning Stib Inspirational Mini Colouring Pencils would make such a great gift. They’re the perfect size for travel and we take them with us for most car and plane journeys. They come in a brightly striped pack and include ten individual coloured pencils with an inspiration word embossed on each one.
