Father’s Day this year is undoubtedly going to be a strange a one. Like Mother’s Day back in March, it may not be possible to have a big family gathering, or celebrate with a meal at a restaurant. However this doesn’t mean we can’t still spoil the men in our life. I’m lucky to have an amazing dad and husband who our children adore and Father’s Day is the perfect opportunity to show that.
This year I’ve teamed up with some great brands to hopefully give you some inspiration when it comes to choosing a Father’s Day gift. There’s no socks here!
Mermaid Gin

If there’s one thing that’s been helping us get through lockdown, it’s gin! This Mermaid Gin is something special though. Made in the Isle of Wights’ only distillery, Mermaid Gin is instantly recognisable by its colourful bottle with sculpted scales that reflect and refract light. The bottle clearly resembles a mermaid, whilst the name itself comes from from the Isle of Wight’s cliffs – and known locally as “Mermaid’s Kiss”. The bottle is plastic-free and 100% recyclable and gin itself is delicious! You can find Mermaid Gin at Marks & Spencer, John Lewis and Harvey Nichols and online at Master Of Malt.
Kit’s Chutney

Kit’s Chutney is brought to us by uncle and nephew team Kit and Max Maharajh. Their homemade Peanut Chutney recipe has been in their family for five generations and I’m so thankful they decided to share their family product with the world! Alongside the Peanut Chutney, they also produce the Red Chutney; a blend of tomatoes, peppers and red chillies. Delicious! You can buy the chutney’s individually or they also do a lovely gift box and mixed chutney pack. For more details check out the Kit’s Chutney website.
Clothing or Accessories from Mainline Menswear

Mainline Menswear stock a great range of men’s clothing and accessories from brands such as Ted Baker, Ralph Lauren, Superdry and Nike. There’s so much to choose from that would make a perfect gift for Father’s Day. They have some lovely gift sets, wallets and belts, or simply kit him out with some new t-shirts! My husband loves his new Levi’s tees. Delivery is quick (72 hours), and free if you’re buying full priced items. There’s also an option for next working day delivery if you’re leaving it until the last minute!
Mummy Meagz Rocky Road bars

Treat your dad this Father’s Day with an indulgent treat with a difference. Vegan chocolatier, Mummy Meagz has given the traditional Rocky Road recipe a twist with the inclusion of Sea Salt and Cinder Toffee. This creates a delicious savoury kick to the chocolate and honestly, they’re absolutely delicious! Each 55g bar is free from animal products, Genetically Modified ingredients (GMOs) and palm oil and can be ordered online through the Holland & Barrett website.
Skinny Food Condiments

The Skinny Food Co are a food and drink brand dedicated to zero calorie sauces, syrups and healthy snacking options. All their syrups are zero calorie, zero sugar, and zero fat, whilst the sauces are virtually zero calories, zero sugar and zero fat. Their BBQ sauce is my absolute favourite! They have a whole range of products to try and they can be bought as the 15 item monthly bundle (saving over £12 on RRP) or as smaller bundles, such as the #NotGuilty Burger Bundle containing Tomato Ketchup, Peri Peri Hot Sauce and Smokey BBQ Sauce.
You can find the Skinny Food Co products a variety of stockists including Morrisons, Holland & Barrett and Spar Stores, as well as online at theskinnyfoodco.com
Car Air Fresheners

Lynx are offering car air fresheners with a difference. Each car freshener slowly infuses your choice of Lynx aroma and they come in a variety of different formats. We particularly love the Dark Temptation scent. From the traditional hanging disc to the car vent freshener, each one promises 30 days of freshness. They can be found at Halfords, where currently they are on offer, meaning you can buy three for the price of two!
Disclaimer : I was offered complimentary products for the purpose of this gift guide but as always, opinions are my own.

Some fabulous suggestions for Father’s Day gifts! That Mermaid gin looks awesome – not a fan of gin myself but I love the bottle! 🙂 Sim – Sim’s Life x
I love the car air fresheners! My father would love them! Also the Mermaid Gin seems cool and worth a try as well!
I’m terrible for choosing gifts for him so this list is perfect – thank you! The mermaid gin is more for me though 😉
Great suggestions. I am particularly amused that Lynx are doing car fresheners. Is there a Lynx Africa one? Otherwise I’d love to try the Mermaid Gin. Might even let dad try it too!
That mermaid gin looks stunning, although I’d probably buy that for myself. Edible things tend to go down really well with my dad as he has such a sweet tooth x
What a fab selection of gifts! My Dad is no longer with us but I just know my partner would love the chutneys, the gin and the Skinny BBQ sauce!
Clothing is always a winner, having the opportunity to update Dad’s wardrobe – although those Rocky Roads sound delicious
These are some great suggestions, particularly the Mermaid Gin! I’d never heard of it before, but I’ll have to get some. I love that their bottles are plastic-free and recyclable!
