Disney On Ice Liverpool

We’re massive fans of Disney in our house. I grew up watching Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin and I’ve passed my love on to my own children. After our trip to Disneyland Paris in December we well and truly have Disney fever! We were therefore so excited to be invited to Liverpool to see The Wonderful World of Disney On Ice.

Disney On Ice Liverpool Review.

After a horrendous car journey due to both my lack of direction and road closures, we finally made it into central Liverpool! We parked at the Q carpark at Liverpool One and it was a short ten minute walk to the arena.

We were lucky enough to meet a couple of the characters which got us in the Disney spirit.

It was our first visit to Disney On Ice and so we were unsure what to expect. It more than lived up to our high expectations. We loved every second of it from start to finish!

Disney on ice liverpool - Mickey Minnie Goofy and Donald

We saw all of our favourite characters from Mickey and Minnie, to Timon and Pumba and the songs had my daughter singing her little heart out. The excitement and glee on her face was so lovely to watch.

There wasn’t only performances for my daughter to enjoy though, my sons loved it too. My youngest son loved seeing Buzz and Woody, whilst my eldest was marvelling about the skill of the skaters.

It’s so easy to be swept away by the dazzling outfits and familiar music that you almost forget just how difficult the manoeuvres are. The skaters’ performances were flawless and they made such difficult routines look effortless.

The show lasted for approximately two hours including a short interval and it absolutely flew by. Even my usually fidgety four year old sat entranced throughout. She was particularly excited to see Rapunzel and the Little Mermaid whilst Aladdin and Lion King was my favourite. I particularly loved Abu as the elephant!

The show is in Liverpool until 21st April 2019 so it’s the perfect Easter treat for the kids. Visit the Disney On Ice website to find out more.

I was offered complimentary tickets but as always opinions are my own.
