We have so many exciting festive treats and days out lined up this Christmas. One of our favourite Christmas traditions is visit Santa at his grotto. This year we are particularly looking forward to visiting the Winter Wonderland Grotto at St Luke’s Church in Liverpool, Merseyside.
St. Luke’s famous “bombed out” church is one of Liverpool’s most loved heritage sites and this December it’s being transformed into a magical winter wonderland.
This isn’t an ordinary Santa’s Grotto! Not only do the kids get to visit the big man himself, the entry ticket also includes Christmas crafts, art sessions, story telling, silent disco and so much more. Children are given a gift from Santa along with a framed photograph to take home. Even the adults aren’t forgotten, as they’re treated to a minced pie and hot drink.

The Winter Wonderland will be opening it’s doors between Saturday 1st December and Sunday 23 December 2018. It’s sure to be THE place to be in Liverpool this Christmas.
The fun doesn’t stop there though. The grounds of St Luke’s will also be home to a Christmas market, artisan stalls, live entertainment and luxury food and drink outlets and it’s open to the public free of charge.
