There are so many travel destinations we would love to visit as a family. So much so, we don’t just have one bucket list, we have several! We have different lists depending on the type of holiday and we’re determined to tick off as many as we can.
We love adding to and ticking off our travel bucket lists. It gives us something to focus on and something to aim for. We’ve split them down into different categories and will no doubt be adding more. Here’s what we have so far.
We’re big fans of city breaks and there’s so many places we would love to visit within Europe. We created our European Cities Bucket List early last year and were lucky enough to visit a few great European cities last year. We visited Belfast, Rome, Billund and Copenhagen so were able to tick a few off our list. We had booked to visit Budapest, Salzburg, Vienna and Munich this Summer but Coronavirus had other plans! There’s still so many places we’d love to visit though so I think this will be an evolving list!
It’s been a long time dream of my husband and I to visit as many US States as we can. We have a few places on our US States bucket list. We’ve only been able to tick off New York so far but we would love to visit a few more within the next few years. We’d love to visit Florida, New Hampshire and Texas, amongst others.
Our luxury travel bucket list focuses on those no expense spared holidays we’d love to enjoy as a family. Think long haul trips, white beaches and turquoise oceans. However we’ve chosen places that aren’t just beach holidays. We know holidays with kids are rarely completely relaxing so we’ve chosen places where there’s still plenty to do.
I’m 35 this year so starting to run out of time to tick off places I want to visit before I’m 40. Luckily we’ve already managed to tick off Italy and Denmark, although there are still places in both countries I’d love to visit. This bucket list focuses on places I’d love to visit in the next five years.
As a family of five, it’s not cheap for us to travel long haul. On our long haul travel bucket list are the holidays we know we’d need to save for, that would undeniably be worth every penny. We’re desperate to go to Australia and would also love to visit Mauritius and Mexico too. Hopefully one day!

We love travelling round European cities. When my husband and I got engaged we went interrailling around many of them. I love to do the Scandinavian countries now.
We literally would go anywhere! We haven't travelled with the kids since 2008. My son has never left the country. I think we realised it would be too expensive. All of us would love to go to a Greek island.
We were due to visit Oslo this summer. First time going to Norway. Really gutted we had to cancel.
I'm not a big traveller, although there's so many places in the UK I'd love to visit before thinking about going further afield.
Love the idea of having different bucket lists! We were also meant to be in Saltzburg and Munich this summer! I’ve just cancelled them! Hoping we maybe able to rearrange the trip for next year instead!
I would love to take my kids out of the country one day. We were supposed to be going to Crete for the first time ever this year but it ended up getting cancelled due to Corona :(
