It seems like my kids have all had sudden growth spurts during lockdown. The clothes that fit nicely back in March are now looking snug or too short. Therefore when Rydale got in touch asking whether we would like to try some of their items, I knew it was the kids who needed kitting out the most!
Rydale specialise in British country clothing which are all inspired and designed in the heart of Yorkshire. They offer a great range of clothing, footwear, accessories and gifts which are perfect for those who love the outdoors. You can find clothes with a rural twist for men, women and children in a great range of sizes, including plus size.
We opted to kit the kids out in coats and jackets which are perfect for the unpredictable British weather! I let the boys choose what item they would like and they both choose the Jonty Full Zipped Hoody. They were delighted with them when they arrived. We found the sizing to be perfect and chose a 9-10 for our soon to be 9 year old and an 11-12 for our 11 year old and they fit perfectly.
They’re lovely and warm and great for cooler evenings or chillier days. The little details on the bottom of the hoody and on the sleeve are nice touches and you can just tell they’re incredibly well made.
For our daughter we chose the Junior Patterned Raincoat in the Daisy Navy print. It’s a lovely lightweight jacket with a clever fold away hood. It’s perfect for the warmer days where rain is threatening. It’s lightweight enough to not be too warm, while the zipping pockets and full size hood shelter from any downpours.
We ordered it in an age 5-6 for our five year old and it has plenty of room. They also sell matching wellies in all the different patterns to match the raincoats.
We were really pleased with the items we received. I love the country twist on the clothes and how they are tailored for the great outdoors.

I hadn't heard of the Rydale brand before, but the clothes look nice. I think my youngest would love the red raincoat with the bugs.
