Tackling The Washing Pile With Ace – #AceForSchool Challenge

Why is it when you send your kids to school looking pristine and shiny, they come home looking dirty and dishevelled?

Every. Single. Day.

And when I ask my kids what they have done at school, the answer is always the same – “nothing”.

Apparently “nothing” involves splashing themselves in tomato sauce and rolling around in the mud, if their school uniforms are anything to go by.

I was therefore thankful to receive some ACE stain removal products to try out.

As a mum of three kids, I haven’t seen the bottom of my washing basket since 2009, so I’m fully embracing anything that’s going to make my life easier. Between the three of them I’ve had to tackle a variety of stains including grass, mud, pen, tomato sauce and even blood!

ACE is specially formulated to be tough on stains, yet gentle enough to use on delicate clothes. ACE For Colours can be used in your every day wash and helps keep colours bright. It’s so gentle it can even be used on silk and wool garments. Meanwhile the ACE Remover Spray tackles those more stubborn stains.

So when the kids come home with stains like this on the shirts, I know I don’t need to stress.

I simply spray some ACE stain remover directly onto the stain and watch it fizz as it gets to work. I leave it for a few minutes then stick it in with my regular load, along with the ACE For Colours. It works brilliantly even on a colder wash which is great when we’re all looking to do our bit for the environment.

And voila! The stain is gone!

The fab thing about ACE is you don’t need to worry about colour transfer or about bleaching coloured items. My sons’ school shirts are blue so it’s great to know I don’t need to worry about discolouring them.

Importantly it also smells nice! There’s nothing nicer than the smell of freshly washed clothes.

ACE products are also fab to use on football kits, and also helps keep their karate kits that bright white.

Grass, mud and food stains are all a part of growing up. I don’t want to have to tell my kids not to play and get dirty, and thanks to ACE I don’t have to.
