Welcome to our Disneyland Paris Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show Review!
During our Disneyland Paris trip we wanted to see as many characters as possible. This didn’t just include meet and greets, but also watching the various shows and parades on throughout the day. When we booked our trip we opted to pay extra for the Premium Meal Plan. This meant we could book our character meals and it would be included in the price. Also included in the price was Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show.
Whilst not a character dining in the traditional sense, Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show enables you to watch your favourite characters within the show as your food is brought around to your seats.
Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show Review
My initial impressions of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show was absolute bedlam! There didn’t seem to be a proper queuing system and it was a bit of a free-for-all as we were all making our way in. Things were much more organised once we made our way in.
On our way in we were told which colour “team” we would be in which determines which section of the arena we would be sat in. We were given our yellow trimmed cowboy hats (which we got to keep) and we made our way into the bar area. You can buy drinks here as you wait for the pre-show to start but bear in mind your drinks are free when you get upstairs (providing you want beer, water or coke!)
We booked for the 6.30pm show but as recommended we got there an hour early. This allowed us to battle the queues and also see the pre-show which is definitely worth a watch.

As part of our meal plan we could have Category 2 seats, or pay a supplement for Category 1. We stuck with Category 2 and were more than happy with our seats. We were sat midway up and the view was great and we had no trouble seeing all the action.
The show was fantastic. It was engaging and interactive and the kids loved it. They had great fun cheering on our yellow team members during races and games. It was also a great opportunity to see the characters in a different environment, and wearing clothes other than the Christmas clothes we had previously seen them in.

Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show Review – Food and Drink
There isn’t a menu, everybody is served the same food which could cause issues for some. The food was mostly meat based, chilli and skillet with with potato wedges for the main course and warm apple pie and ice cream for desert. The kids had chicken, sausage and wedges, with ice cream for desert. The lack of choice could be a negative for some but we’re all meat eaters in our house so we weren’t concerned by the lack of choice.
My husband’s highlight was the unlimited beer brought around to our seating area! You could choose from coke, water or beer, all of which were unlimited. The staff were attentive but not intrusive as they left us to enjoy the show.
All in all it was a brilliant night. It was such a relaxed atmosphere and so much fun. I honestly think it would be worth going even if you’re not a fan of the food. The show alone is worth the entrance fee in my opinion. Definite a highlight of our whole trip!

Sounds like a lot of fun! The food sounds good too, although it’s a shame there was no free wine option. Oh well, can’t have it all! X
OK now this sounds like a fun show to get to go and see. It always amazes me the different things Disney manage to put together.
I would love to see a Wild West show. There was a Wild West town near Berlin, where we lived for a couple years, but sadly my kids were still too young for it at the time.
We were thinking of going here in Jan when we went to Disneyland Paris for my son’s birthday but didn’t in the end. Sounds like it was a good event in the end. How was the food?
Oh this sounds like a great fun meal! Not your normal type of meal entertainment too isn’t it
We lived in Paris for 5 years and are back often my hubby has been to this show with his mum twice and loves it
We did this for Isaac’s 5th birthday and loved every minute
We are actually just back from Disney! We looked at the doing Buffalo Bills show – it does look fab – but because of asthma, decided best not chance it given the warning. It sounds like you had a great time though. And I wouldn’t be too put off by the lack of meal choice.
I’ve only been to Disney World in Orlando, but it’s been years. Truly one of the most magical places on earth. This Buffalo Bills Show sounds awesome.
Sounds like you had loads of fun. As I have not been to Disneyland yet, I will save this as one of my to-do activities when I am there.

Wow, that sounds like you had so much fun. Thanks so much for sharing the experience and the pictures with us.
Awww so fun!! This makes me want to go back to Disney so bad!
I havent heard of a show like this before and i am glad that you are informing others of the event. I need to think of taking my neices when we have our little girls night
How interesting and fun!! I love hearing about the different Disney parks around the world. They all offer so many different themes! I’m closer to Disneyland and the other Disney parks seem so much more interesting than the O.G. Thanks for sharing!
I have not visited the place. Nice to see your family could enjoy it. No food choice can be really the issue. I like that micky mouse pic 🙂 I like wearing cow boy hats ,maybe someday will visit the show.
Wow, I’ve been to Disney lots of times when I was younger and had no idea about the shows! This sounds like great fun and would make a nice way to spend an evening after going on rides all day xx
Wow! What a show. I love the Wild West myself and I know the kids would find it so exciting to watch something this cool.
We’re not Disney fans but this does look really good. It’s a live TV dinner! I’d have enjoyed it (shame there was no wine on offer!)
Sounds like a wonderful experience, we were disappointed not to be able to visit on our trip – should have booked in advance
I have been wanting to go to Disneyland since I saw the advert at the beginning of The Little Mermaid video 😀 This looks like a lot of fun!
Disney Land Paris is forever in my heart! I am so happy for you, it seams like you liked it a lot. I would love it too. Very nicely written review also!
This looks amazing fun, we’ve never been to anything like it before but I know the kids would love it. Mich x
Disney sure knows how to entertain people, they’re masters at it! Sounds like a family fun time adventure.
I actually didn’t know there was a Disneyland in Paris. Disneyland is always a good time and to have it in Paris seems like a great getaway for the whole fam indeed. Thanks for sharing!
Fun that you got to see the pre-show. I remember songs about wild west shows. 🙂 Sounds like a fun trip to Disney.
Looks like you had amazing time over their. Would love to attend next time. Adding to our bucket list.
This looks like great fun, I’m glad it got more organised once you were through the initial queue
Oh wow this looks like a great show and sounds like lots of fun too! I really want to take the kids to Disneyland Paris one day and this looks like a must see when we do!
When we visited disneyland Paris last year we couldn’t fit this show in, which is a shame as it looks like a lot of fun. I’d probably say that most of the food at Disneyland isn’t that great but the atmosphere is always fantastic.
This is definitely fun filled no doubt.
Looks like a great show to watch and a nice place to go for a family
We saw this when we were in Disneyland Paris with our eldest. We loved it! I so want to go back with all four kdis!
Sounds like you had an amazing experience. I will look for details and will see if I can make it to Disneyland.
What an interesting experience you had with your family. The menu seems nice too. I think they probably served everyone the same food in order to create a family setting. Maybe when i visit your country, I should give this place a visit ?
This sounds like a complete entertainment package . I love Disney and could visit again and again.
