After the huge success of the Snowman Tour, Carrot Productions are teaming up with Aardman Animations to bring us Wallace & Gromit’s Musical Marvels.
Wallace and Gromit have a special place in my heart. I remember watching them with my dad when I was younger and absolutely loving them (almost as much as my dad!) I’ve introduced my own children to my favourite Wensleydale loving hero and his faithful sidekick, and they are entranced as I always was.
We are so excited for this one!
The production will be heading to 38 locations throughout the UK during May and June 2019. My fellow Northwesters are in luck, we have some great locations to choose from, including The Lowry, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Liverpool Auditorium. We love visiting the Lowry; it’s such a lovely theatre. We took the children to see Dr Dolittle there in December and it was the perfect night out.
We have also seen shows at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, which is obviously such a great place for a family treat.

Matthew Sharp will be on hand to present Wallace and Gromit in this brand new interactive experience. With specially created animation and a live orchestra, it’s set to be the ultimate treat for Aardman fans.
The show will also include a special screening of Academy Award winning The Wrong Trousers, again with live orchestral accompaniment. The orchestra at the Snowman Tour was amazing, and no doubt they will be again. Plus, who doesn’t love The Wrong Trousers and that troublesome penguin?! It’s an absolute classic!

Love Wallace and Gromit and this musical marvels show looks amazing. We went to Blackpool Pleasure Beach last year when on holiday and the kids loved the Wallace and Gromit ride there.

I remember Wallace and Gromit very well! The Wrong Trousers especially comes to mind, the evil penguin trying to ruin everything! I love the idea of video accompanied with a live band xx
