Encourage your child’s creative side with this fantastic book. The Dinosaur Creativity Book is full of puzzles, games, colouring and make-and-do activities. There’s 80 pages to keep the little ones entertained with over 150 reusable stickers.
My son has always been a huge fan of dinosaurs and he has now passed this love on to his little sister. We’re always on the look out for dinosaur toys and gifts for kids that are a bit more unusual than just dino figures and soft toys. Wicked Uncle are the answer to our prayers. They have a full range of dinosaur gifts for girls and boys of varying ages. I love that the range isn’t aimed solely for boys and there’s photos of girls enjoying them too.
Here are just a few of our favourites for different ages.
The Smartmax Magnetic Dinosaurs set looks fantastic. It’s suitable for children aged one and over and includes 14 mix and match magnetic pieces. They can make four different dinosaurs, such as a T-Rex or Stegosaurus, or they can use their imagination and create their very own unique dinosaur.
We can personally recommend this Melissa and Doug chunky dinosaur puzzle as we bought it for our kids! The dinosaur pieces are the perfect size for little hands and puzzles like this really help develop their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. The puzzle is suitable for children aged two years and up.
As a kid I used to love playing with Fuzzy Felts but eventually they would become a bit tatty and unusable. This Floss and Rock Make Your Own Dinosaur Magnetic Scenes set is a fantastic idea. You can create different scenes as you could with Fuzzy Felts but the magnets are much more robust. There’s two different backgrounds to chose from and 50 magnets, including dinosaurs, a caveman family and a volcano. It’s the perfect rainy day activity for children aged 3 and up.
I’ve never seen a Doodle Your Own Dinosaur Pillowcase before! It’s a great way of getting the kids to be creative as well as brightening up their bedroom decor. The set includes a cotton pillowcase and ten brightly coloured pens to allow kids to indulge their inner artist. There’s plenty of small details to colour in including a volcano, scientists and obviously plenty of dinosaurs. The pillow can be washed and used again which is brilliant as it makes it a multi-use gift.
We love this Mosaic Dinosaurs Kit. Within the set are dinosaur templates all ready to be decorated with textured stickers. There’s over 1400 stickers in the set so the possibilities are endless! There’s no need for any glue which makes it a mess-free activity which is a great bonus! My kids love making mosaics and the result is always really effective.

I love that Wicked Uncle cater for older dinosaurs lovers. So many places focus on older kids but my son still loves dinosaurs and he’s twelve!
This crystal kit is a great gift for older kids. It contains everything you need to conduct four dinosaur themed experiments. There are handy step by step instructions within the set along with interesting facts. You can grow your own crystalosaurus, decorate his cave with a stalactite garland, crystal geodes, and dino eggs. It’s a great way of introducing science into play time.
This A5 hardback diary has a lockable padlock so nobody can read any secret musings! It also includes a six-colour ballpoint pen, stickers and a motif applicator pen. The diary has 44 pages of activities including drawing and sudoko puzzles alongside facts about the dinosaurs.
We love a jigsaw in our house. It can be a solitary activity or equally something the whole family can enjoy. This T-Rex jigsaw has 100 interlocking puzzle pieces and measures a massive 96cm x 55cm when completed. The puzzle also comes with a sheet of fun T-Rex facts.
I hope you’ve found some inspiration here when looking for that perfect gift for the dino fan in your life. For all your toy and gift shopping needs, don’t forget to check out Wicked Uncle’s website.

These look great, my Daughter used to be mad on dinosaurs when she was little and it seems to have passed down to the grandkids now
I used to love dinosaurs when I was a kid as well. I remember having this book that I shared with my best friend, about a baby dino. I wish I had a magnetic board as well to create different scenes. I would have brought the baby dino to life :)
