Can you believe it’s November?! This year has just flown by. I’m not complaining though as this time of year is my absolute favourite.
I actually enjoy the cold weather and everything that comes with it. The dark nights, the crunchy leaves and the cosy evenings in are all things I spend the summer months pining for. I’m definitely at my happiest this time of year.
One thing I particularly love about the cooler months are the colours. From the orange leaves underfoot to the brightly coloured fireworks and vibrant reds and golds as the festive season approaches. And now, thanks to ACE, I can ensure our clothes are just as vibrant and colourful!
Last weekend I did the big wardrobe shake up, where I stored away all our summer clothes and dug out our winter coats, jumpers and cardigans. Our Summer Box which is filled with sunglasses, sun-hats and suncream has now been replaced with the Winter Box – hats, scarves and gloves!
I’ve given everything a post-storage wash to ensure they’re at their best, using ACE for Colours Powder. The great thing about ACE for Colours powder is although it’s gentle enough to use on items such as scarves and cardigans, it also maintains the vibrant colour of the garments I’m washing. It’s also a fab stain remover which is always a bonus when you have three young children!
My middle child has sensitive skin and is prone to an allergic reaction. He was actually in hospital earlier this week due to a particularly nasty reaction – but that’s a story for another day! Despite his sensitivities he’s never had an issues with any of the ACE products we have used. I use it routinely when washing the kids’ uniforms which always seem to be absolutely filthy after a day at school and not only do the clothes look like new, they smell amazing too.
The powder can be used to soak or pretreat clothes but I find just adding two tablespoons into my wash with my normal detergent makes a big difference. It really does tackle stains while keeping the colours vibrant.
There’s no plastic scoop in the packaging which is great because it means the box is fully recyclable.
Using ACE for Colours Powder has made the never-ending chore of laundry that little bit easier. And who doesn’t want that?!

I can't believe it's November either! I used to hate the colder months, but this year I am actually enjoying them
Wow. It blows my tiny little mind that there are only two months left of this year! Hope you have a lovely (& very colourful!) autumn winter 2019 :) x
Fantastic that there is no plastic scoop so the packaging is 100% recyclable. I love giving my clothes a post storage wash to make them smell fresh again.
I do love sweet smelling clothes. Commenting for myself and on behalf of BritMums and thanking you for taking part
Sounds like a super washing up powder! I have always tended to stay with the same brand, but I think I'll switch things up this month!
When you have little young kids, doing laundry is definitely a challenge especially in Autumn. So you do need reliable helper i.e. Your detergent. Perhaps I should try this Ace too ?
Autumn always brings additional stains on the children's clothing which can be a pain to sort. I'll have to add this to my shopping list to give me a helping hand

We love using this to brighten up our clothes. We always use ACE products for brightening up and removing stains.
ACE are a fantastic brand - I haven't tried this product from them before but will certainly be checking it out.
I love the colours of autumn too but keeping my woolies vibrant is definitely an issue. Thank you for the tips!

Nothing better than the feeling of fresh clothes that smell lovely. Also, with it being November, I will need to give all mu jumpers a fresh clean ready to wrap up x
