As we are based in the North West of England most of our adventures take place here in the UK. Our UK adventures covers everything from days out with kids, theatre visits and hotel reviews. Our hotel reviews have a focus on locations that can sleep all five of us in the one bedroom.
We are National Trust members so we visit and review a lot of NT properties. Our children are 4, 7 and 10 and so our days out are always aimed towards something that will suit all three of them. This is a similar challenge when looking for theatre shows!
We had an amazing time watching Disney on Ice in Liverpool last year. The children were captivated by the musical productions and amazing costumes, not to mention the amazing skill of the skaters! It was our first time seeing a Disney On Ice production and we all loved it. It was absolutely mesmerising.
We are therefore so excited it’s heading back to Merseyside in 2020.

Continue readingBrickburn, brought to us by BRICKLIVE, is running in Blackburn from the 23rd August to 1st September 2019 and is the world’s first Paw Patrol brick trail. Not the first in England, the first in the WORLD! Amazing! Throughout the town centre there are 21 models to find, including all our favourite characters from the hit Nick Jr show. We went along to take part in the trail. This is our honest review.

We were therefore delighted to be invited to Blackburn’s King George’s Hall to see a performance of Elmer The Patchwork Elephant Show. We music and vibrant puppets, it promised to be a treat for all the family. This is our honest review.
