My Son’s Last Day Of Primary School

Yesterday I picked my son up from primary school for potentially the last time. It was a rather subdued affair. There was no excitement, no leaving assembly, no celebration of this significant milestone. Instead there were tears from his classmates and parents. Some of the children were already in self isolation so there wasn’t even the opportunity to say proper goodbyes.

Children’s Mental Health Week – How To Build Our Children’s Self Esteem

Raising awareness of Children’s Mental Health Week. Too many children suffer from low self esteem from such a young age, and if nothing is done to combat that, what troubles will they be bringing with them into adulthood? By promoting a positive outlook and giving our children the confidence to believe in themselves, we can help them to accept their differences. I honestly believe if we can encourage them to see their unique qualities as strengths, it will give them the right tools to be happy and confident adults.
