Spring / Easter Bucket List – Fun Easter Activities For Kids

The daffodils are springing up, the weather is getting (slightly) warmer, it can only mean one thing, Easter is on its way!

We are massive fans of Christmas and tend to have a pretty jam packed schedule during December. Easter however doesn’t seem to get the same amount of attention in our house. I’m determined that this year that is going change!

I’ve created our very own Easter / Spring bucket list and we’re hoping to tick off as many as possible.

I Can’t Complain

This week has been strange to say the least. It seems such a long time ago the kids were in school. It’s hard to believe it’s been just a week. We’ve been muddling through. My husband works for the NHS but is lucky to be able to work from home while I work part time in a pharmacy. I’ve been attempting to homeschool our three kids when not in work so my husband can get some work done in peace…

My Son’s Last Day Of Primary School

Yesterday I picked my son up from primary school for potentially the last time. It was a rather subdued affair. There was no excitement, no leaving assembly, no celebration of this significant milestone. Instead there were tears from his classmates and parents. Some of the children were already in self isolation so there wasn’t even the opportunity to say proper goodbyes.

Parenting : My Baby Isn’t A Baby Anymore

March 2020 is a big month for my eldest son. Last week he found out he’d been accepted into his chosen high school which ended a long and anxious wait for us all. In two weeks time he will turn 11. A tween. An age where he’s not quite a teenager but also no longer a young child. 

And yet it was neither of these things that really hit home that my baby isn’t a baby any more. That moment happened tonight.
