As a mum of three I’m all too aware just how difficult it is to find suitable childcare that suits not only your child but you too. If you’re leaving your child with someone who is essentially a stranger, you want to have the assurance you’ve made the right decision.

The website itself is so simple to use. Each childcare option is displayed at the top of the page and you simply select which one you are interested in, be it a babysitter, childminder, nursery or one of the many other options. You can then enter your postcode and decide how far you are willing to travel. The search results then show what options are available that meet your requirements.
Rather than just a list of options, there’s plenty of information on each choice when you click to see more information. If you search for nurseries in the area, you can click on of the search results and find out more about your potential choice. There are 15 nurseries in my local area and I could narrow this down depending on my requirements. The site shows what availability the nursery has, for example, they may be able to accommodate mornings but not afternoons. This enables you to see at a glance whether the selection would meet your needs. It also tells you when the information was last updated so you know whether you need to check whether anything has changed.
You can also find information on fees and whether they accommodate free hours for two and three year olds. You can see how they describe themselves, what they offer and even see reviews from other users. There’s also the option to contact the nursery with a click of a button which will send your message directly to the nursery.
Now my children are of school age, I found the school section really helpful. It provides information on what schools in the area offer before and after school clubs.

I absolutely would recommend Childcare.co.uk to anyone looking for childcare in their area. It can be an overwhelming decision and I remember with my eldest, just not knowing where to start. Omg, this is a really good website. I'm surprised I have never come across something like this, I have colleagues that I could pass this onto.
Childcare UK is great, I used it when my daughter was younger. It really helps you save time, as you can narrow down the searches based on your needs. Saves phoning and messaging around for 15 different places until you find the right ones.
I don't have children myself but I often hear friends complaining about finding childcare. I will recommend this site to them next time!
I can remember looking for a nursery for my children, so many phone calls and messages back and forth only to find that they didn't have the availability that I needed. This sounds like it takes the stress out of that for parents.
